With more than 50 years experience and convenient locations in Evans and Augusta, Cushman Paint and Body is the CSRA's premier collision repair center!

Founder Jimmy Cushman started his business in a two-bay shop in rural Columbia County while working as an employee at another body shop. He and a few family and friends restored old cars and painted golf cars for Club Car. Back in those days, special order colors were hand painted and the Cushman team painted thousands.

With the support his wife Ann, and a nudge from family members, Jimmy quit his job, put up a big sign on Washington Road and formally opened Cushman Paint and Body in 1988. With help from sons Scott and Edward and Kenny Covington, Cushman has grown into one of Georgia's largest collision repair companies.

We have more than 100,000 square feet of repair facilities with modern unibody frame realignment systems, nine state-of-the art, down-draft spray booths and a computerized paint mixing system to ensure the closest color match possible. Our Direct Repair Shop relationship with most major insurance companies provides us with clear direct communication regarding damage analysis.
